Job Description & Qualifications:
Manage a large team or a group of small teams that develop, implement and support new/existing software applications and hardware platforms. Work with user groups to ensure operational stability and that applications meet the practical needs of the company.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Builds relationship with key user and operations groups to identify and resolve business issues.
Manages and provides technical and business direction that affects capacity planning, new applications, data security and LAN systems.
Manages and tracks the progress of multiple development projects to include administration, work plans, resource planning and control, status reports, and budgeting. Conduct regular project reviews.
Resolves information services problems by analyzing issues, discerning the most appropriate course of action, providing tactical direction and reallocating resources as necessary.
Conducts financial analyses to support strategic planning on system purchases, upgrades and reclamation. Negotiates favorable prices with vendors.
Communicates status of activities with the team, peers, management and end-users.
Selects, develops and motivates assigned staff.

Solutions require analysis and investigation.
Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles and practical experience. May recommend/make decisions regarding new programs/initiatives that have significant impact to the business and carry consequences in unsuccessful endeavors.
Manages a larger team or multiple small teams through direction of subordinate management and/or supervisory staff.
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience
Preferred Qualifications & Job Specific Details:
This leader’s responsibilities will include driving all aspects of product definition (requirements gathering, engineering requirements, roadmap prioritization, business case development), team management (recruiting, staffing, mentoring), and outbound marketing (messaging, web presence, social media).
Product management involves end-to-end leadership, from working with key customers to driving strategy to delivering revolutionary new features and functionality. The product management leader will be responsible for leading a small team of product owners to develop and execute on a vision for building cloud-delivered, next-generation identity and directory services for AWS customers that provide identity, directory, and access management, federation, web services security, and single sign on (SSO).
The successful leader will lead and grow the current organization through change, evolution, and sustained growth.
· Minimum of 5 years of product management experience in technology companies or business units
· Minimum of 5 years of experience translating customer needs into requirements, roadmaps, measurement plans, and delivering exceptional customer experiences
· Minimum of 5 years of experience with building and leading product teams with an emphasis on scaling them to meet the demands of a rapidly growing business
· Bachelor's degree
· Demonstrated ability to succeed in delivering high-quality technology products and services in a very high-growth environment
· Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, and understand how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong, talented, opinionated team
· Experience driving a technical and global product team with end-to-end inbound and outbound product responsibilities
· Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills
· Ability to formulate data-driven decisions that lead to results
· Ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects
· BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
