Job Description & Qualifications:
Define and manage quality policy, procedures and practices. Arrange for all inspections, including relevant documentation and records.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Create and maintain programs for quality control inspections and maintain inspection sheets for all new and repeat jobs. Provide for customer required inspection documentation.
Pursue quality control issues with subcontractors and customers and address disposition of defective products, materials or installations.
Review documents, such as installation schedules and specifications, to obtain information on materials, priorities and personnel requirements.
Confer with internal personnel and customer to coordinate processing and shipping and resolve complaints.
Examine documents, materials, produces and work processes for completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications.
Compile schedules and orders, such as personnel assignments, product, workflow and maintenance and repair. Maintain files of maintenance records and cost reports.
Calculate labor and materials amounts and wage cost using pricing schedules. Requisition materials and supplies to meet demand.
Design and implement inspector training in QC in issues, as required.

Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles and practical experience. May recommend/make decisions regarding new programs/initiatives that have significant impact to the business and carry consequences in unsuccessful endeavors.
Manages a larger team or multiple small teams through direction of subordinate management and/or supervisory staff.
Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a requirement to stoop or lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).
Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes or odors.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Must be eighteen years of age

Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable
Education and Experience
Preferred Qualifications & Job Specific Details:
Oversee and manage day-to-day activities for multiple direct reports.
Ensure direct reports follow consistent quality control program.
7+ years of industry experience.
