Job Description & Qualifications:
Responsible for supervising a group of portfolios sales representatives, providing training, coaching, and mentoring to develop associates in the company sales processes. Responsible to profitably grow sales to achieve yearly sales growth goals as a sales consultant through the development of relationships with emphasis on customer solutions for current core industries and emerging industries and markets. Responsible for prospecting for new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and increasing opportunities with existing customers.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Trains sales associates in effective selling processes and techniques, assists sales associates in problem resolution; ability to provide sales process leadership, skill coaching, and key opportunity assessment.
Monitors activities of team members to ensure day-to-day responsibilities are met, including reports, daily call plans, etc., are completed correctly and on time.
Ensures portfolio sales associates use time effectively to increase sales. Follows-up and reinforces sales techniques based upon skills learned in consultative selling and solution selling programs.
Trains sales associates in effective selling processes and techniques, assists sales associates in problem resolution. Provides sales process leadership, skill coaching, and key opportunity assessment.
Establishes relationships and working partnerships with all levels of the organization. Develops and sustains sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers on all levels of an organization.
Nature and Scope

Ensure that work is performed consistently with HD Supply policies and procedures.
Leads a group or team of support, craft, or lower level professional associates.
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Must be eighteen years of age
Must pass the Drug Test
Must pass the Background Check
Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable
Education and Experience
Preferred Qualifications & Job Specific Details:
Experience with sales techniques such as consultative selling and solution selling.
Experience in business to business sales.
Previous sales experience in similar industry or HDS product line preferred.
