HD Supply Lead MS Exchange Systems Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia
Join a World-Class Applications Services Team! Working in a team of 9+ analysts and engineers, you will work cross-functionally with our Device Engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, and InfoSec teams to ensure our business has the right technology to deliver on our Gold Standard Performance path. You will be a hands-on lead in the design, architecture, installation, configuration, migration, and maintenance of our MS Exchange environment.
Minimum 5 years expertise with Microsoft Exchange 2013 and 2016 (Exchange Online) and later.
Experience leading, architecting and executed migration plans.
Proficiency in DNS, Active Directory, ADFS, Intune, Azure Active Directory, DirSync, Hybrid Exchange, SharePoint or Skype Infrastructures and how they integrate with larger Microsoft collaboration platform
Experience with Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, Windows 10, and Mac OS
Experience with Active Directory, MS Online, Exchange Online, Exchange on-prem PowerShell modules
Experience in managing backups and backup systems for Exchange Online.
Experience with various Microsoft tools like graph API, reporting web services, exchange web services.
Experience in the Design, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of various Azure SaaS Cloud Services such as Azure AD, AIP, ATP, ASR, CAS, EM+S, Teams, Intune, AAD Connect, Exchange Online and O365.
Recommend, develop, plan, manage, implement, and fully document IT projects
Identify improvements to IT documentation, network maps, processes/procedures, and tickets
Manage and respond to escalated client inquiries
Research products and new technologies to increase efficiency of business and operations
Serve as the escalation point for other IT Systems Engineers and Service Desk Engineers
Keep all tickets and projects updated and track time in a detailed format

Job Description & Qualifications
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting complex technical infrastructures, hardware, and system software components. Act as team lead providing expert technical direction. Interface with business stakeholders on complex projects.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Performs installation, configuration, maintenance, debugging, and support for systems software/hardware, including implementation support for multiple infrastructure platforms.
Tunes platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved. Performs root cause analyses for service interruption recoveries. Creates preventative measures.
Develops expert knowledge of industry best practices and uses that knowledge to provide technical support to project team members.
Provides 24/7 on-call support for assigned systems, including investigating and troubleshooting problems.
Interacts with requestors and architects to define system requirements. Translates the requirements into technical specifications. Interchangeably works with technical business-oriented teams.
Implements and maintains tools/applications to ensure systems have sufficient security controls. Evaluates and researches upgrades, patches, and new system functionalities. Researches, plans, and implements new system technologies. Evaluates new and emerging technologies and methodologies to find faster, cost effective, and more reliable solutions for existing and proposed systems.
Participates in system design. Recommends architectural direction for new operating system functions, hardware features, or application needs to help drive standard and efficient applications and infrastructure design. Aligns the infrastructure roadmap with the application technology strategy, hardware vendor roadmaps, and service capabilities. Leads a team of system engineers and senior system engineers.

Education and Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 8+ years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 5+ years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
